| Meet Mary Birmingham Mary Birmingham is the director of music, liturgy and Christian Initiation at Ascension Catholic Community in Melbourne, FL. Mary is a graduate of St. John University’s School of Theology, Collegeville, MN with a Master of Arts degree in Theology and Liturgy. She was the recipient of the Diocese of Orlando’s annual “Sower Award” for excellence in the area of evangelization on a local and national level. Mary Birmingham’s ministry also extends to the wider church.
